Glossybox June 2016 FULL SPOILERS
Glossybox is a Beauty Box subscription service that i have been trialling for around 3 months.
Each month you receive a box of 5 products- some full size, some sample size. The price varies depending if you want to subscribe on an ongoing basis, 6 monthly or yearly. To be able to cancel at any time the box is £10 a month plus P&P. For that you get £55 worth of products.
What I love most about Glossybox is you get a wide variety of products in the box and each month each product is different. From mascara to hair ties to hair masks to perfume… the variety is huge and also the brands are very reputable. So far I have received items from Revlon, 417, Clarins, Essie, Gosh and many more.
So June’s boxed arrived today packed full of goodies!
First of all say hello to the Konjac sponge. The product is from Japan and Korea (who are pros when it comes to good skincare),
Glossybox say ‘Konjac sponges are said to have antibacterial properties and offer up a whole new tool for washing your face. While they may look a little odd, they offer incredible results – including an utterly radiant and super smooth complexion.
Made from the natural fibres of the konjac, a porous root vegetable native to Asia known for its ability to hold water, they’re far more gentle than a scrub but still harness the same skin buffing capabilities, leaving your skin clean and unbelievably soft.’
To use simply place in warm water and then squeeze dry. Add your normal face cleansing product, massage the sponge over your skin in round circular motions and then rinse with warm water. Remember to hang the sponge up to dry though to keep it fresh.
Next Aussies 3 Minute Miracle hair mask. This product I have used on and off for years. I love the smell of this product and how it feels on the hair. However, don’t use to much of this in one go as it can weigh heavy on the hair! However, it does exactly what it says on the jar- a miracle in 3 minutes!
Then we have the Ladival SPF! Now this is not a brand I have heard of before. However, being a pasty pastry I must always use SPF, so I gave it a try. It retails for around £13.50 a bottle which makes this month Glossy a MASSIVE value for money!
What I love the most is it has no smell at all so you don’t have to be the one that stinks of sun cream all day. Its protection is amazing- even in 40c I don’t get burnt using it! Full love for this product.
This product combines perfectly with the De Bruyere Lait après soleil after sun bottle included in the box. It smells gorgeous and feels very creamy on the skin with a real soothing effect! I cant wait to take these last 2 on holiday with me again in July!
The last 2 products Origins Ginzing eye cream and Emite makeup lip and cheek tint I have not heard of before.
Upon using the tint for the first time I was very cautious, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Easy to blend, even with fingers, and a beautiful shade for my skin too.
As for the eye cream- puffiness is a thing of the past!
I am totally in love! Soothing, smells divine and leaves my skin feeling soft!
I would say this has to be one of the best boxes from GlossyBox to date!
