Christmas Decorations on a budget

I love love love Christmas. It really is my favourite time of year. The colours, the lights, the music, the smells… everything. But, especially the Christmas tree. When the Christmas tree goes up in our house it’s a sign that it is well and truly on its way. The excitement starts and the mulled wine is a-plenty.

For some people, Christmas is a time of extreme financial difficulty. Having children increases the cost considerably and decorations are sometimes one of the first things to be ticked off the ‘Budget Cut List’. So i wanted to share with you a few gems i have found this year that have been super super cheap!

Now Christmas trees are super personal to some people. You get the mum who has everything handmade from their children, you have the colour coordinators, you have the just chuck it all on and then you have the theme lovers.

For me, i am a chuck it all on sort of girl. If i like it, ill have it. There are items i made when i was a little girl, shop bought, homemade items from my step-son and then the ‘hand me downs’. In my house, Christmas is all about being whatever the hell you want it to be.
