Vertue Box is an up-and-coming subscription box that is well-known for clean, green, health and beauty products. The company aim to make it easy for you to discover and try award-winning, up-and-coming and well-known brands that are good for your health and the environment. Vertue Box actually give 10% of annual profits to environmental, health and food charities and use eco-friendly packaging and suppliers. The criteria for the box contents is a big thing for Vertue Box. The products have to be cruelty-free, natural, certified organic or wild-crafted, sustainably and ethically sourced, eco-friendly and charitable.
Founded by a former Makeup Artist, who after being diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder, started to lead a healthier, greener lifestyle, inside and out. This is a bi-monthly box which means you are not paying out every single month. The company offer 2 subscription choices;
– Bi-monthly recurring subscription of the Original box with 5-7 products. Box delivered every 2 months at the end of the month. From £30 including free delivery. Cancel anytime.
– Bi-monthly recurring subscription of the Mini box with 3-5 products. Box delivered every 2 months at the end of the month. From £18 including free delivery. Cancel anytime.
Both of these give the options for a rolling bi-monthly payment or a 6 or 12 month bulk payment making it super flexible.
As you can see this box has 6 beautiful products. Occasionally you will also receive extra samples and gifts but these will be at random.
In this box i received;
– Wild Nutrition Food Grown Vitamin D Supplements
Getting a sufficient amount of vitamin D is important for normal growth and development of bones and teeth, as well as improved resistance against certain diseases. Vitamin D fights depression, aids weight loss, fights disease and of course helps with bones and teeth. It is actually a really important vitamin a lot of people forget about.
– Madara Oil to Milk exfoliating scrub
This luxurious and rich oil-based exfoliating formula smoothly transforms into a delicate milk to gently cleanse, soften and renew the skin without stripping natural moisture. It leaves skin super soft and ready for the day.
– Madara micellar Water
Removes make-up and impurities, balances and hydrates even sensitive skin in one single step. Based on moisturising aloe vera, skin quenching hyaluronic acid and calming Northern peony. I love how this product doesn’t dry out the skin at all.
– Au Naturale Eyeshadow in Black ice
This is a deep black tint with a slight shimmer. It is great as an Eye Liner (applied with an angle liner brush), or an Eye Shadow. All of Au Naturale’s Eye Shadows are paraben-free, fragrance-free, gluten-free, bismuth oxychloride-free, non-nano, carmine-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA.
– Nailberry Nail Polish in Silver Lining
No formaldehyde, toluene, camphor, DPB and ethanol. The secret is to make sure the nails are oil free before you apply your base coat and make sure the nail polish is very thinly applied.
– Madara Time Miracle (various cream samples)
I this box there are a few samples of various creams. My favourite is a gentle hydrating cream which firms and reconstructs the delicate skin around the eye area. Signs of fatigue, crow’s feet and fine lines are definitely showing signs of reducing.
I think this box is fantastic value for money. The nail varnish alone is £17! I think this is a really beautiful box that has been curated wonderfully. Even the boxes of the products have been colour coordinated. I feel every last detail has been thought of so carefully. Would i recommend this subscription? Wholeheartedly. The products are of a fantastic quality and the ethics behind the company do not compare. Hats off to Vertue Box!
