Artemis and Xena Review | April 2017

Artemis and Xena is a company I have been hearing more and more about recently. It is a well-being subscription box that empowers women. The Artemis & Xena provides you the tools to aid your self-care and will help you de-stress from daily life. They promote wellness, comfort and positivity which is critical in a time where 1 in 4 of us in the UK suffer from mental health issues!

The box itself came packaged beautifully with glittered ribbon and pink tissue paper inside. Bright pinks are youthful, fun, and exciting and have the same high energy as red- sensual and passionate without being too aggressive. That totally corresponds to they theme of ‘Hello Spring’. Spring is a time of excitement, all the beautiful flowers are blooming and the energy in the air is at its height. Perfectly thought out!

Argan Oil- Where do I start with both the above products. Argan oil is famous for its very rich vitamin E content and essential fatty acids. It is more commonly known for its many benefits to the hair and skin. Leaving this product on overnight rejuvenates your skin giving it the most wonderful healthy glow. Argan Oil is one of the things I actually use religiously.
The gold sachet is a perfume sachet that I was super exited about. It was shortlisted for the 2016 beauty awards and smells sooooo good! You gotta try it!

I am always a bit skeptical about atmosphere mist, with no disrespect to the brand it is not really for me. I could spray anything on my face and feel equally as well… wet. This one did particularly smell more lovely than some of the others I have used and I think coming up to summer if you put in the fridge it would be a very nice cooling spray.

These 4 little beauts is an extra item for new subscribers. These beautiful little hearts are from the Etsy company Dollycandles and are the cutest. Their smell is subtle yet enough to know you have something burning. I think I may head over to their etsy page and have a wonder. If these are anything to go by the other products are going to be heavenly.

Products aside for a second I love love love all the little cards of empowerment included into the box. They are quotes, or self help cards or little bounces of enthusiasm. They are super cute! They are the type of cards that you keep for those down days, for the hard days when life just grinds us and you need that kick up the bum to tell you everything will be ok.

Pretty much every girl is a sucker for a stationery set- come on lets be honest ladies! This vibrant pack is from Rachel Ellen Designs and is worth £7.99- so that gives you a hint towards the EPIC value of this box.

I simply loved this headband. Whilst I am not normally a head band kind of girl this beauty WILL be worn, especially to festivals this year. It is the perfect brightness and size to warrant alcohol and good music!

The whole box has been curated so well and I love the fact the company donate 40p from every box to support women survivors of sexual violence in democratic republic of congo! The whole box just makes you feel good about yourself and ready to take on the world. The theme fits perfect and I literally cannot wait to see what next months box has in store. The box is really really great value for money and I think I quite literally love everything about it.

You can subscribe to Artemis and Xena box either on a month by month basis or on a 3 monthly basis. If you subscribe monthly the cost of the box is £15.00 per month or for the 3 month term it is a one off payment of £36.00. You also have the choice to choose between first or second class post.
