Its September (said in a shrill singing voice)! Dollibox have sent across their glorious box and I was super excited to tuck straight in, especially with the free popcorn included !

Dollibox is a monthly subscription box for £10 plus £3.90 p&p. You can either get a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription or one-off boxes. The content of the boxes are a surprise. Dollibox uses your beauty profile to send you products most suited to you so it is important to complete the beauty profile quiz.

  • A monthly subscription costs £10 per month (plus P&P). This is a rolling subscription, but you can cancel anytime.
  • A 6 month subscription consists of a one-off payment of £54 (plus P&P), which is £9 per box.
  • A 12 month subscription consists of a one-off payment of £102 (plus P&P), which is £8.50 per box

Every month you will receive 5/6 items with 2/3 being full size which is great value for money.

This is what I received this month;

Foccallure Matte Lipstick is a product that I was surprisingly impressed with. i don’t normally like lip crayons but this is a really nice shade. The product is waterproof and reasonably long-lasting.

Next up we have the Fairypants Vegan Cosmetics Dry Skin Balm in Orange & Vanilla. The first thing I noticed about the product is the scent. It is not too overpowering which makes a difference to the usual balms. I thought the balm was going to be quite hard but once in between fingers the body heat melts it into a really easy consistency to use. I found the product to be nourishing but nothing special if I am honest.

Glitter Eyes Pressed Glitter is a really pretty product. I love the consistency of the glitter and the shade but I think pressed glitter is just not for me, at age 26 I feel like my raving days are over.

Anatomicals ‘Never Lose Your Cherry’ Lip Balm is a product I unfortunately won’t use. I can’t stand the taste of cherry so this product is not for me.

Micellar water is all the rage right now but this is the first time I have seen it put in a hair product. Schwarzkopf Professional Micellar Cleansing Conditioner is one company that have started doing it. I was super excited to try this because I know how much I love a good Micellar water. The conditioner smells nicely scented and the consistency is not too watery. I found the conditioner left my hair so soft. I was worried it would leave a slight residue or stickiness but not at all. I loved to try the other bottles in their range.

As a whole I think the box was well put together and well thought through. Although not all the products were for me I was happy to receive and at least try them. Dollibox always offer a different variety each month and their box is one that I will always be excited to receive.
