Lord & Berry is a company that I don’t often use but when I do each time I am wowed. Their shades are always so on point and vibrant it is always an exciting delivery when their packages hit the mat.
Lord & Berry have been a company that have kept quite quiet for quite a few years but then about 24-36 months ago they took the makeup word by storm and BAM (!*!*!) they were what everyone wanted. And they still are. It is not hard to see why they have really taken off. With a range so bold and prominent how could you miss them.
Makeup is such a personal thing, everyone has their favourite brands they stick to religiously but it is always good to try those ones we are always a bit too shy to touch.
I think it is so hard to find a cream blush or bronzer that isn’t greasy and doesn’t feel like it’s clogging the pores. There are some makeup creams that literally feel like you’re painting the skin with a thick layer of paint.
The Lord & Berry cream blush and cream bronzers are two products that I have been so excited to try out. They are super easy to blend and quite nicely pigmented. I think a cream can be quite daunting but once you try these you won’t look back.
I preferred the bronzer more than the blush, of which, I didn’t think I’d ever say. I love love love a good blush and hardly ever use bronzer but this bronzer just tones against my skin so well.
I used a blending bud to apply and blend out as a brush, I feel, picked too much up on the bristles. With. blending bud you have more control on how much you can blend.
I didn’t dislike the blush I just found it a little too highly pigmented for my skin tone and no matter how much I blended I still felt it was just too much. I am naturally very pale so it really doesn’t take much to be too much for my skin.
Both creams offer a weightless texture and the thin film that does cover the skin doesn’t block the pores no matter how much you build the layers.
The creams make for a really nice small stocking filler. There are 6 Blush shades to choose from and 6 Bronzer shades to choose from. The bronzers retail at £22 each and the Blush at £20 each.
