Glossybox | June 2018
June is here and Glossybox are taking us on a little journey this month to France with their French Riviera edit. They have curate a gorgeous edit with must have essentials to make you feel at home among those golden beaches we all long for.
Glossybox have also partnered up with leading hair company Remington to offer you the chance to win 1 of 5 Proluxe hair tools. Simply find. golden ticket in your box and you will win!
If you are new to Glossybox then here is a little info. As you have probably gathered Glossybox is a beauty subscription service. Each month, it delivers a wide and varied selection of 5 beauty treats that include niche, high-end and emerging brands. I love this because you can get some good old faithful products yet try some things you would never normally buy.
The latest trends are taken into account with every single box (you can see past boxes here) to bring you reusable and stylish boxes full of beauty essentials.
There are 4 different ways to subscribe to Glossybox starting from as low as £9.50! Choose between a monthly rollover box (cancel any time), a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month pre-paid subscription. Each month there is a little deal to be had on a freebie up for grabs so make sure you keep and eye out on social media.
In this box there are 5 items, here is what I received;
The first item out of the box and one which all subscribers will receive is Laritzy Cosmetics Shade Stix Full Size. I was not super hyped about this item when we got a sneak peak last month and having used this stick a few times now I cannot say it wows me either unfortunately. If my skin tone was a little darker/ I actually had a tan it may compliment it better but at this point in time the stick wasn’t really for me.
The Monu Skin Eye Cool Gel Full Size, however, was something I was excited about. Having used Monu products before I know that their quality is something to shout about. This product promises to wake up your eyes instantly and boy does it work. I think the cooling effect really helps deliver that woken up, wide eyed effect for sure.
I flit between waxing and shaving quite a lot so I am always on the look out for a bloody good razor when I decide its time to shave. Glossybox have included a Wilkinson Swords Intution f.a.b. Razor Full Size in the box this month. So this roar has Bi-directional blades which means you can go up AND down your skin and it will shave those hairs in both directions! This is a game changer in the hair removal world and I think I may have to kiss goodbye to waxing my legs for a while whilst this is on the shelf!
Hair masks are like marmite, you either love them or hate them. Noven Mystic Deer Hair Mask 100ml Sample Size is the hair mask of choice for this months box. This mask you leave on for 10mins and it promises to take away frizz, tangles and split ends! Because my hair can get greasy quickly I can not put anything to heavy on it. This product was quite heavy, however, on second use I applied just to the bottom 2-3 inches of my hair and it worked a dream!
There is one company out there who’s products always out shine the rest and this is Nip + Fab. This month Glossybox have included their Glycolic Scrub Rub in a 50ml tube. It is an exfoliating scrub that smells distinctly of grapefruit. To be honest I am not a great fan on the smell, however, the scrub itself leaves skin really soft and my pores really clear.
I know I say this most months but I was super impressed with this months box. Shade stick aside I will use every single one of these products and probably will continue to go on and purchase them too. This box was (I’m going to say it) the best one so far this year!
A real selection of great products from makeup to skin care to hair care to removal… Glossybox have beautifully curated a wonderful on point box!
Sneak Peak into July’s box shows a Sea Water Hair Spray from Senhor Do Bonfirm.
