On 6th August 2018 I became a Mrs. I married my best friend. I had been planning the wedding (and by that I mean with the occasional no from Phil) for around 5 months. We wanted to wait until after Evelyn was born to even think to start as my head was all over the place and it wouldn’t have my full attention.
Surrounded by just our nearest and dearest we said ‘I do’ in a small ceremony on a gorgeously hot summers day and It couldn’t have been more perfect.
If you’ve read my last wedding post about why we didn’t go to town on our wedding day this won’t surprise you.
We wanted this wedding to be just what we like. I think a lot of people create a wedding that is purely to show off or to tick the boxes on what a wedding should be or even for other people.
We did this purely for us. We had a small crowd come with us to the registry office and then after we head to the pub where everyone had what ever the hell they wanted to drink, not the mandatory champagne, and food and laughs. It couldn’t have been more chilled out and perfect.
We were lucky the weather was actually right at the end of the summer heat wave we had but then picked up a few degrees so we celebrated in about 27c absolutely perfect temperature.
It was a day filled with fun, love and laughs and every single person left with a smile.
These were just some of my photos and ill try and upload more when our wonderful photographer sends them over.
