Glossybox | November 2018
They said it was going to be a sell out…. they weren’t wrong.
Glossybox’s November Edition titled ‘Beauty SOS’ sold out within 6 days!
And it is not hard to see why.
If you are new to Glossybox then here is a little info. As you have probably gathered Glossybox is a beauty subscription service. Each month, it delivers a wide and varied selection of 5 beauty treats that include niche, high-end and emerging brands. I love this because you can get some good old faithful products yet try some things you would never normally buy.
The latest trends are taken into account with every single box (you can see past boxes here) to bring you reusable and stylish boxes full of beauty essentials.
There are 4 different ways to subscribe to Glossybox starting from as low as £9.50! Choose between a monthly rollover box (cancel any time), a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month pre-paid subscription. Each month there is a little deal to be had on a freebie up for grabs so make sure you keep and eye out on social media.
Glossybox told us we would be wowed… and let’s face it- we were.
Featuring 5 party saviors to get you through the party season, November’s box appears to be packing a punch!
First up we have the one and only Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in ‘Girlfriend’. Retailing at £18 each and giving us a totally full size version the box already has me sold! Vegan friendly, cruelty free is comfortable and is packed with an amazing complex that refuses to dry out your lips. So don’t expect that usual matte crack (sounds naughty haha)- you know what I mean.
The next Full Size product is STYLONDON Easton Eye shadow Palette. With 9 stunning shades I am literally obsessed. The pigmentation is intense and something that is defintely going to last a while for sure.
Retailing at £9.99 it would be a bargain to go out and by the other palettes they have also…. (opens new tab to start online shopping ) READ SAVES MONEY LIKE A GOOD GIRL! lol lol lol .
Catering for the mattes and the glitters it really is an alrounder palette.
The next two items are Deluxe minis that I am still unsure of.
Context’s Micro-Derm Regenerator is a two in one cleanser. It exfoliates, polishes and purifies using professional microdermabrasion crystals. I am not sure after 3 uses if my skin likes this or not yet- Ill update you soon. RRP £6.50 for the mini or £26.70 for 120ml.
The other deluxe mini is YourGoodSkin Balancing Skin Concentrate. This mini helps skin texture,m moisture, radiance, oiliness and skin tone evenness in 28 days… again ill update in 25 days time. Retails at £5.83 for the mini (odd price but ok).
Then we have a cute little Travel Size Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment. This mask restores damaged hair and moisture levels. Apparently it also repels dirt so you don’t have to wash as much. Kind grosses me out that my hair is covered on something permanently like a coating so unfortunately I personally wont be reviewing this one.
Last but not least they have chucked in a perfume sample from Chloe. You will either receive Chloe Ea De Parfum or Chloe Nomade, either are utterly glorious and I am glad we do not get a choice as I couldn’t choose.
Overall I can see why the box sold out. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I am hoping the skin items full off for me (not literally) as they both smell great and have shown positive results so far. I think the box fits the bill for November perfectly to be honest. The addition of the Full size Huda Beauty product really made this box though. Without it I think the box wouldn’t have sold out to be fair. Glossybox seriously have big boots to fill this Christmas if this years boxes have been anything to go by!!!!
Sneak Peak into Decembers box; Expect to see the glorious Champagne Shimmer Roll from Bellapierre Cosmetics.
