2020 Christmas Gift Guide

2020 Christmas Gift Guide a bloggers beauty

What a weird year it has been. Never did anyone think that 2020 panned out the way it did. Yet here we are, November, and it seems like 2020 and it’s ugly head will never go away. As we finally, albeit slowly, see it draw to an close, Christmas this year is one a lot of people will cherish. Thousands of people have lost family and thousands have not seen theirs for extended periods of time. Loved ones are (hopefully) going to be held a bit tighter and for a bit longer.

Christmas this year will be big for some yet small for others. 2020 has been hard financially for a lot of people and so this year I wanted to show a wide variety of Christmas gifts that say a lot but not with a huge price tag.

Biossance Let It Glow Set – £19

Biossance have incorporated two fantastic minis into this set. A Squalane and Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum 15ml and Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil 10ml. Think Hydration and Illumination in the plenty for this duo.
The Night Serum exfoliates overnight so you can wake up not just to the softest skin but also radiance. The Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil which is applied in the morning locks in hydration and boosts firmness. As far as mini sets go this is up there!

Christmas Drinks – Various

When in doubt a bottle of wine will suffice. Dinner guest, take a bottle of wine…. games night, take a bottle of wine… invited for Christmas, take a bottle of wine. Wine is always a winner and The Bottle Club not only caters for the Champagne Lovers but for the Diet Coke drinkers too.

Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Rose Gold Metal Handle Razor – £12.99

A razor I can always get behind is Venus. This is the Extra Smooth Rose Gold Metal Handle Razor. The metal handle is a real winner, it is more durable and reusable and it ticks the box for putting less plastic in the ocean that’s for sure. The razor features a  SkinElixir lubrastrip which protects your skin from the harshness of shaving and ultimately leaving your skin super soft. This is a great stocking filler for a lot of stockings and one I wouldn’t mind seeing in mine if I were to still have a stocking (hey mum nudge nudge)!

Sanctuary Spa Marvellous minis -£10

This gorgeous mini set includes three 75ml and one 50ml best seller. It includes; Body Wash, Foaming Bath Soak, Body Lotion and a Body Scrub. The set is a great stocking filler or small gift for anyone that travels. the small size fits in to most wash bags and is ideal for those flights too.

Glossybox Subscription £132 for 12 months/ £11.75 a month

I love Glossybox! There is nothing I like more than receiving the box of goodies each month. A Subscription to Glossybox can be given as a gift option on the website and it is a gift that lasts all year round. This is great for teenage children, a loved one or even simply yourself.

Glitz Tech Sculpting Roller – £54

This gold and pink facial massager is at the top of a lot of Christmas lists this year. Fluids in the face can make you look puffy and Glitz Toy have sculpted a device that offers a deep massage to really work at those fluid pockets and helping them to drain. The roller has two magnets inside so when the roller glides over your face it works to improve your circulation. Along with circulation it produces smoother skin and tightens the jaw line. A nice reminder to always use the tool in an upward motion as you want to lift the skin.

Sanctuary Spa Jar of Treats -£10

Super excited that the Sanctuary Spa Jar of Treats is included in this years Boots 3for2 deal making it even more desirable this Christmas. Sanctuary really deliver when it comes to their Christmas gifts and this one just proves that. Like the Marvellous Minis, the set includes; Body Wash, Foaming Bath Soak, Body Lotion and a Body Scrub. It also had the added extra of a Shower Puff plus the jar is reusable. I have Bath Salts kept in mine from last year and I am eager to add another to my collection that’s for sure. The set is a great stocking filler or small token gift to anyone who loves a pamper.

1 Million by Paco Rabanne – £49.99 100ml

Who doesn’t love a perfume or aftershave? For a lot of people this Christmas, a scent will be a go to purchase. If we already have one, it’ll eventually run out so a perfume is always a great gift. ThePerfumeShop are always my go to place for fragrances, they always have good deals on and you can nearly always get quidco cashback too!

L’ABU Skin Powerful Organic Anti-Ageing Trio – £62

A power trio that packs a punch. This trip is truly the power trio. The trio includes Retinol Oil 30ml, Anti-Ageing Serum 50ml and an Anti-Ageing Face Moisturiser 50ml. Targeting fine lines & wrinkles, dark circles under eyes, skin tone, clarity and hydration there seems to be not one thing this set can not do.
The three big Yes’s for me when it comes to this brand is that it is made in the UK, Vegan and contains not one single paraben or sulphate. You can expect to find ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin A, Organic Green Tea and Organic Blueberry Extract.
This is a lovely gift for the skin care lover or someone who just likes to look after their skin. Suitable for him and for her. It is also on offer at the moment (at 10/11) at just £50.

Rituals Candles – £19.90

I will never not recommend rituals. I love them and everything they stand for. Their candles are just to die for and the scent fills the home and is always so incredibly welcoming. To me, homes don’t feel homely unless a Rituals candle can be smelt. Maybe that’s just me but they just seem to make you feel so relaxed and dreamy. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. If I got nothing but a Rituals candle for Christmas I would be one happy lady!

AULI luxury candle gift set -£52

The epitome of a relaxing candle set. All be it the higher end of the price scale these three are a trio you will want in your bathroom. Think a large glass of wine, hot bath, bubbles, relaxing piano music in the background and these burning on the side. Made of 100% natural wax and three amazing scents-  Cedrello Citron (like the smell of sunshine), Leur D’Encens (rose and woods) and Per Alfeo (mimosa, birch, and tabacco- a more manly room fragrance). A great gift if you’re buying for a couple or parents combined as well as an individual.

Camel RollTop Bag from JimBag – £69.99

This roll top backpack is not just unique but wonderful. Boasting a duo front and back exterior zip compartments to allow for quick grab and run. Also great for the more important expensive items you want to hold a bit closer. The max capacity is a whooping 33L and the laptop compartment holds up to a 15″. The laptop compartment also included extra padding (winner) for that extra protection. Ascetically the bag is for the warriors out there, those in touch with nature and want a rustic like imagine. The unusual design has a clasp for added security on the top of the roll top. Quality wise it’s very very good for the price tag. A thick yet moveable fabric will see this bag last and last. As I make all the points about this bag it really does just go tick tick tick for everything you’d want in a bag. A great gift for the men in your life!
